Frequently Asked Questions
Is online coaching just a generic plan in an app?
Definitely not. You get a structured plan built around you — your goals, schedule, training history, injuries, preferences — plus ongoing coaching to adjust it as things change.
Your reality, your plan, your results.
Who is online coaching best suited for?
Online coaching is ideal if you:
Want structure and clarity.
Are busy and need something that fits around work and family life.
Need accountability and motivation.
How is this different from following free workouts on YouTube or Instagram?
YouTube doesn’t know:
What you trained yesterday
What you should avoid
Why your shoulder keeps flaring up
Whether you’re doing too much or too little
Free content gives you good ideas but the plans aren’t written for you and don’t take the big picture into account.
What kind of results can I realistically expect — and how long does it take?
Within the 1st couple of weeks most clients notice improvements in:
Energy
Strength
Confidence
Consistency
Visible body composition changes typically take 8–12 weeks, depending on where you’re starting and how consistent you are.
How much time per week does this actually require?
Most clients train 3–5 hours per week in total. This will be broken down into whatever is realistic for you and your schedule.
The goal is consistency, not exhaustion.
Is nutrition included, or is it just training?
Nutrition is included.
That doesn’t necessarily mean strict meal plans or obsessive tracking. It means a clear, appropriate strategy based on your goals, preferences, and relationship with food.
Why does online coaching cost what it does?
You’re not paying for workouts. You’re paying for:
Expertise
Individualisation
Ongoing adjustments
Accountability
Time and attention
Good coaching saves you months (or years) of trial and error. In terms of time and attention from me – it is better value than 1 to 1 in gym sessions.
What if I’ve tried programmes before and they didn’t work for me?
That’s extremely common.
Most programmes fail because they:
· Aren’t specific to you
· Ask too much, too fast
· Ignore injuries or lifestyle
· Rely on willpower instead of systems
Personalised online coaching solves all of this.
What happens if my motivation drops or life gets in the way?
That’s expected — not a failure.
When life ramps up, the plan adapts. We reduce volume, adjust expectations, and keep you moving forward and staying consistent.
You need a plan that survives real life
Do I have to track calories, macros, or weigh myself?
No — unless it’s genuinely helpful for you.
Some clients track. Others don’t. Some weigh themselves. Others don’t.
The method serves the goal — not the other way around.
What if I sign up and realise it’s not right for me?
I’m not interested in locking people into something that doesn’t fit. If it’s not right, we’ll be honest about that and work out the next step.
The goal is finding what is the right fit for you to get long-term progress.
Do I need access to a gym, or can I train at home?
Either works.
Your programme is built around whatever equipment you have access to.
Gym-based, home-based, outdoor or a mix — all fine
How much contact do I have with you as my coach?
.You get:
Regular check-ins
Feedback on training
Adjustments when needed
Direct access for questions
You’ll always know what you’re doing and why you’re doing it. I am available every day via WhatsApp.
Is online coaching safe if I have injuries, pain, or limitations?
Yes — and much safer and more effective than generic classes or random workouts.
Training is adjusted around existing issues, with an emphasis on:
Technique
Strength where it’s needed
Avoiding flare-ups
If something hurts, we address it.
